Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our payment systems by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Testing Experience: At least 2 years of experience in web and backend testing.
- Strong Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: Proficient in various software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with a solid understanding of all stages of software development and testing.
- Requirements Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements to develop test cases and test scenarios.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to discuss requirements and testing results.
- Mentoring Experience: Ability to support and mentor junior QA engineers, coordinate their work, and facilitate onboarding and knowledge sharing.
- UI Test Automation: Experience developing automated UI tests using the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach.
- Backend API Test Automation: Experience developing and maintaining automated integration tests using Postman and Rest Assured.
- CI/CD: Understanding of and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, TeamCity, or similar tools.
- Reporting and Quality Metrics: Ability to prepare test reports, analyze quality metrics, and recommend improvements to testing processes.
- Log Analysis and Monitoring Tools: Experience analyzing application logs using tools such as Kibana, Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar solutions.
- Process Documentation: Ability to create and maintain documentation for testing processes, standards, and best practices.
- SQL Knowledge: Proficiency in writing SQL queries using JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, subqueries, and aggregate functions. Experience working with multiple tables to extract data and generate reports.
- Languages: Azerbaijani, with strong communication skills in English or Russian (B2 level).
