Description
- We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to sit within our development team, support us in designing the whole testing infrastructure and bringing in knowledge, experience with testing tools and good practices. In this role you will use different automation tools, create, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code.
- If you have a strong technical background and can streamline all testing activities, then we would love to have you on board.
- Strong experience as an Automation QA Engineer, including backend test automation using Java.
- Experience in automating mobile or web application testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience in defining test strategies, defect management, and manual/exploratory testing.
- Experience working in Agile teams or startup environments is considered an advantage.

- Develop testing plans to verify product functionality prior to release;
- Test product functionality to assure successful implementation as defined by requirements;
- Document, troubleshoot and manage any issues, bugs, changes;
- Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce issues identified during testing;
- Perform quality assurance and execute manual, end to end, regression testing across multiple environments and platforms, including production;
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, regression tests, and work with developers to ensure all reported software bugs/defects are resolved;
- Run automation testing;
- Set up a range of testing capabilities, including UAT;
- Collaborate with product owners to design measurable acceptance criteria and drive clear definitions of done.
